I love the Wednesday WOW recipe series and have been blogging recipes with you for years. About three months ago, I made the life-change to eat gluten free (GF) and wheat free, so I’m going to start sharing this new journey with you. I’m learning just about every grocery store has a good section of GF items! The transition over has not been as hard as I thought it would be. If you have your own delicious recipes you want to share with readers that can be modified to GF, please email me and I will post your recipes here too!
Today, I went to the grocery store to purchase a few things before the big snow storm hit our area. I was checking out and noticed a mom and daughter in front of me laughing and talking together about the fact that they had WALKED to the store before the “blizzard” hit and now would have to walk home in the snow. Immediately, I knew in my heart, I was supposed to help them out and give them a ride home. I quickly paid for my food and rolled my cart after them, introduced myself to the mom, asking them if I could help out. We became instant friends and chatted all the way to their home, driving slowly in the dumping winter storm. Somehow the conversation turned to the mission field, homeschooling (she was a homeschool mama) and loving big! What a blessing to be at the right place at the right time to give a helping hand.
