I honestly thought I would blog every single day in Africa. I promise there has been action packed mission adventure and miracles every day, but not enough free time to write. I spent the first 2 weeks with an incredible Visiting Orphans Simply Love team in Uganda and Ethiopia … the rest of our days have been full of activity in Korah, Fistula Hospital, exploring Addis Ababa’s delicious restaurants, and spending time relaxing at our wonderful guest house (EGH) The other day, one of the staff asked us if we ever sit down. Honestly, we have enjoyed every single second here loving and serving in Ethiopia. I’m sure you want a honest reflection of our time and that is the whole truth and nothing but the truth. We. Love. One of the things I love most about living here at Ethiopia Guest Home (EGH) is meeting new people just about every day. We love coming down for breakfast and seeing a new face at the common table. You just never know who will show up. Today, a darling couple from Australia walked into our lives. They simply said 2 words when we asked them what they wanted to do for the day … Fistula Hospital. How could they refuse us tagging along when they saw the smiles on our faces! I told them if they wanted us, we’d love to join them. We didn’t have an appointment or an agenda, but Fistula Hospital is one of my favorite places in the world to visit. I’ve encourage you many times to watch the documentary film, A Walk To Beautiful.

I can’t believe what God has done with the Missions Trip Project!!  He is tugging and stirring hearts to travel to Ethiopia and minister to his precious children.  God can do anything, you know—far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your WILDEST dreams! He does it not by pushing us around but by working within us, his Spirit deeply and gently within us. (Eph. 3:20) Here’s what blogger, Lori shared- My 20 yo purchased her t-shirt today! Our neighbors are going to think we bought stock in something by the name of SIMPLY LOVE…but, that’s fine with me!  I love how you said early on that God knows who is going and how this amazing opportunity is going to impact their lives…and the lives of others. Let’s daydream about the lifelong RIPPLE EFFECT that your step of faith is putting into motion!!! One of the special things we will do on the Ethiopia Missions Trip…
