Friends, here is a special note from Jamey-

Dear Crazy Adoption Readers, :)
I want to say a deep thank you for all the kind comments regarding my blankets. I’ve been humbled and blessed by so many of your comments and the wonderful things that you had to say. Each of your stories touched me and I’ve found my way to lots of your blogs because there are few things I like better than a good adoption blog! Congratulations to the winner. I hope you love your MamaEnat Adoption Blanket. I’m sorry the rest of you didn’t win, but unfortunately I can only give away so many blankets as I’m trying to bring home our own Little Miss. For the next week, until January 14st, I’m offering a special deal just for you! Enter the word “Zehlahlum”  (this is the name of my blog and the Amharic word “forever”) in the comments to seller box on Etsy and I’ll refund your shipping costs for one blanket! This is good for ONE week and only when you enter the word ZEHLAHLUM.
Again, thank you so much!
Jamey

I’m so excited to GIVEAWAY a one of a kind Adoption Flag Blanket!!  You win a $50 gift certificate for 1 large “31 x 34″ blanket- you pick the country.  My Crazy Friend, Jamey is adopting from Ethiopia, raising funds through her Etsy Link- www.mamaenat.etsy.com.  You can meet Jamey via her blog www.zehlahlum.blogspot.com. She recognizes not everyone adopts from Ethiopia, so she can do a lot of other countries as well. She has several other countries featured on her site, so please stop by and take a peek.

The blankets are all custom made, so that customers can pick the color that they want for the back. The 2 extra photos are the small blankets.  It will take Jamey a little time after it is won to be able to ship it out.  All you need to do to win this beautiful giveaway is leave a comment. I’d love to hear why you want to win this one-of-a kind blanket, too.  This is a 3 day Giveaway- I will randomly pick a name from the comments and announce the winner on this post January 7th after Zoie goes to bed.

Winner- Please email me so I can give you information to shop online using your virtual gift certificate.  If for some reason, I don’t hear back from you within 48 hrs- I will pick another winner.  Thank you for your understanding.

  1. I love all of your fabulous ideas and web-site. It rocks. I would love a quilt for my Sarah–just home from Ethiopia in September. I have 100 good wishes quilts for my 2 children from China and have not been able to come up with funds or a person to make a special quilt for Sarah.Heck I can’t even get my blog caught up.But love facebook-Alison Spotts

We would love this quilt for Gavin!! He loves soft things to sleep with and the more things in his bed, the better–think Transtition Home with lots of little boys sharing the same bunk!! What a great idea. I really need to learn to sew!

I’ve been eyeing Jamey’s blankets for a while. And because we’re saving every extra penny for our own Ethiopian adoption right now, I’ve not been able to order one for our little guy. He turns 2 on Feb 5th and a new blanket would be a great gift idea for him.

Oh my, I’d love to win this blanket for my daughter that should be coming home from China next month! Her sister got so many blankets when she first came home, but somehow third children seem to get overlooked in that department. Of course I’d probably end up having to buy my other two a China blanket too, but that’s okay!
