Team World Vision. My hubby is running & changing lives in Africa.

My amazing hubby is running in the Chicago Marathon this weekend for Team World Vision.  We are soooo proud of our marathon man!  Make sure he can hear you cheering on Sunday (day of the race)

I care. And so I run.

Who is Team World Vision?
A few years ago a guy by the name of Michael felt God calling him to use his gift of sport to further the work of World Vision. He shared that vision and in 2006 was joined by 95 runners who ran the Chicago Marathon and raised $100,000 for relief work in Africa. That number grew in 2007 to 600 participants and in 2008 to over 1,000. In 2009, Team World Vision will have a presence at events across the United States and hopes to have over 2,000 athletes and raise over one million dollars!

But don’t get confused; it’s not about the numbers. Team World Vision is about making a difference. It’s about improving the quality of your life while improving the quality of lives all over the globe.
